Royal Flush

A straight flush with a 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace.

    

Example: Ten, Jack, Queen, King, Ace of Diamonds.

Straight Flush

Any 5 consecutive cards of the same suit.

    

Example: Nine, Ten, Jack, Queen, King of Spades.

Four of a Kind

Any 4 cards of the same value. If two or more players have the same Four of a Kind, the person with the highest 5th card takes the pot.

    

Example: King of Spades, King of Hearts, King of Clubs, King of Diamonds, Ace of Spades.

Full House

Any 3 cards of the same value, along with 2 cards of the same value.

    

Example: Queen of Spades, Queen of Hearts, Queen of Clubs, King of Diamonds, King of Hearts.

Flush

Any 5 cards of the same suit. If two or more players have a flush, the player with the higher card of that suit wins.*

    

Example: Two of Hearts, Three of Hearts, Six of Hearts, Jack of Hearts, King of Hearts.

Straight

Any 5 consecutive cards of different suits. Ace can act high or low in a straight, and the person with the highest straight wins.

    

Example: Four of Diamonds, Five of Clubs, Six of Spades, Seven of Diamonds, Eight of Hearts.

Three of a Kind

Any 3 cards of the same value. If two or more players have the same Three of a Kind, the person with the highest unmatched card wins.

    

Example: Jack of Spades, Jack of Hearts, Jack of Clubs, King of Diamonds, Queen of Spades.

Two-Pair

Any 2 cards of the same value, along with another 2 cards of the same value. If two or more players have the same Two-Pair, the person with the highest kicker card wins.

    

Example: Ten of Spades, Ten of Hearts, Jack of Clubs, Jack of Diamonds, Ace of Spades.

One-Pair

Any 2 cards of the same value. If two or more players have the same pair, the person with the highest kicker card wins.

    

Example: Nine of Spades, Nine of Hearts, Ace of Clubs, Seven of Diamonds, Three of Spades.

High-Card

If the hand cannot make any pairs, three of a kinds, straights, or flushes, it is called a High-Card. If two or more players have thin hand, the player with the highest card wins.

    

Example: Ace of Spades, King of Hearts, Jack of Diamonds, Eight of Diamonds, Four of Spades.
